James Beard House: Southeast Asian Culinary Tour

Representing restaurants up and down the East Coast, each Chef prepared a number of different dishes showcasing their heritage from South East Asia.

Guests sampled three appetizers, a five-course meal, several desserts and individual wine pairings while hearing the history of each dish from the Chef who prepared it.
The meaning and success of the dinner resulted in a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement awarded to Un-Plated’s Sabrina Medora who planned and hosted the event, as well as an invitation to return annually.
This sold out dinner was prepared by Chefs Scott Drewno and Danny Lee of Chiko, Masako Morishita of Otabe, Judi Ni and Andy Tessier of Baology, Lucas Sin of Junzi Kitchen, and Nicholas Tang of DBGB D.C.
